On multiple occasions, this community center has discriminated against people of the Hispanic community. It’s extremely upsetting to see a β€œcommunity” center constantly exclude members of the same community they should be supporting and welcoming. All the other 1 star reviews serve as proof of the extreme unprofessional and discriminatory behavior that this center shamelessly displays. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated experience.

The staff called the police to remove from the building an event that only happens once a month, where they only used the space for two hours, an event that has been held for eight years, where they give breakfast and books to children free of charge, just because they speak Spanish. Shame of you.

If I could give zero stars, I could. It is absolutely sad to see the directors and staff of this place be discriminate and prejudice towards a group of people simply because of language barriers and they way they look. How can a person call the police and kick out a group of people simply because they do not speak English? Ironic how this place is a β€œcommunity center” yet the staff there can’t respect all communities.

Overall, I like this community center due to the updates, however, there is a staff member who is not friendly non whatsoever. I started coming here due to this location offers basketball drill like camp, and this has been fun for my older son to come and do. We have been coming here for a few weeks and had not had any issues until today. My other kids do track and field, so I try to multi-task by letting my other two practice on their indoor track and do light workouts in the gym, but unfortunately today was a problem. The staff member that addressed that having my kids with me in the weight room was rude in a nice nasty way of how she spoke of addressing their rules in my opinion, and she was rude to my kids from what my daughter told me. My daughter (17), took my younger son to get water, and the staff member felt that it was the right time to address them and told them that they couldn't come back in and had to wait in the lobby for me. Then the staff member came in the weight room to advise me of the ages to work out in the weight room which advisement was 18 and older. My daughter (17) called me from the lobby to inform me what the staff member had told them, and she said tha

I had a great time at this location. Great gym tucked out the way. I was there for a youth basketball game. Gaisman players were ready to play...more or less came to win. I will be busy again.
